The Korean Federation for Environmental Movement is one of the largest civic environmental organizations in Asia. The group focuses on the stories of marginalized groups that were victims of environmental injustices and promotes environmental activism in a national scale to secure environmental health and sustainability. The organization consists of 52 regional groups, which work on a variety of environmental issues including nuclear energy, clean water access, wetland preservation, and environmental policy reformation. 

Goals

The organization strives to take a pragmatic role in addressing environmental challenges that jeopardize human health and justice through campaigns and activism. It aims to contribute in creating cleaner and safer environments by interacting with governmental bodies of climate change, river protection, energy, etc.
