About

On November 26th, 2016, a demonstration was held in Rome by the members of Non Una Di Meno. It fell purposefully on the day after the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women. Several groups joined them, such as Io Decido (I decide), a pro-choice group, “D.i.Re.” Donne in Rete (Women’s Network), a network of organizations against gender violence across Italy. The group of over 100,000 people marched through the streets of Rome, from Piazza Esedra to Piazza San Giovanni.

Goals

To stand in solidarity with women around the world who experience gender violence and discrimination, including transfeminist and lgbtqi. They define gender violence as: "the austerity measures that are cutting on welfare, health care, education, and social policies; reforming the labour market towards more and more casualization, as in the Italian Job Act; doctors in Italy that are still permitted to raise a moral exception against abortion"
