Food & Water Watch, along with dozens of other organizations, helped form the New York Campaign to Save the EPA. The mission of the campaign was to defend the EPA from assaults by the Trump administration and Congress.
Goals
The campaign aimed to stop Trump from cutting the EPA's budget. The goals of the campaign were to get Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer to draw a line in the sand against efforts to cut the EPA budget and put continued pressure on New York's lawmakers to protect health, water, and the climate.
