Local residents and members of the Korean Federation for Environmental movement campaign against the building of Dongang Dam to protect the ecosystem in the area. The campaign itself represents a paradigm shift in behind environmental social movements in Korea. No longer does Korea focus only on local development that overlooks the ecosystem in the area
Goals
To work with governmental agencies and create a civic movement done by local residents to nullify the establishment of the dam in Dongang.
